Separate But Equal
The good life. Things are going your way. It’s all falling into place. Others are cooperating. Others are getting it. You are on the top of your game. Fully engaged. Performing flawlessly. Miracles are happening. Conversions are taking place. People are growing in the light of God. The numbers are up. Finances are improving.
The crappy life. Things are not at all going your way. Everything is falling apart. Others are resisting. Others just aren’t getting it. You are slipping on your game. Distracted. Performing with mistakes. Miracles are few and far between. Conversions are few and far between. People are stagnant despite the light of God. The numbers are down. Finances are worsening.
Two circumstances.
Separate in quality to you. Equal in importance to God.
Bring them both into your conversation with Him. Watch your relationship come alive.
Thanks, Scott. I needed that reminder today. Sad how I can often teach, preach and wrote about spending time in prayer and fail to do it myself. Gotta go talk to the Lord.

What a great thought. Bring both the good and bad aspects of life to God is so important. Great reminder.

I think it was St. Francis of Assisi that talked about bringing your consolations (the good) as well as your desolations (the bad) into communion with God.
Thank you)). For me it is a great reminder that I have God’s acceptance no matter what.
The best thing to hold onto is God’s guidance. It’s a blessing to have God in our life and to treat people equally. Can you frequently post stuffs like this?
Thanks for the reminder.
