  • MY BICYCLE ACCIDENT

One afternoon, I was asked to pick up groceries from the local store. With the bag in one hand and the other on my bike handle, I headed home, only to realize too late that my only working brake was on the side where I was holding the groceries. I gained speed down a hill, panicked, and crashed at the bottom, sending groceries flying everywhere.

This experience was a stark reminder of the difference between living by design and living by default. Had I planned ahead, I could have avoided the crash. The same goes for life: When we live by default, we react to whatever comes our way, often leading to unnecessary setbacks. But when we live by design, we set intentions, prepare for challenges, and navigate our path with purpose.

The choice is ours—react to life as it happens or take control and design the life we want. Choose intention. Choose design. Avoid the crashes.
