February 6, 2022

This is a subtitle for your new post

  • You're completely and utterly immersed in a task.
  • You're oblivious to the outside world.
  • You're focused only on your own progress and what’s going on right here and now.
  • You're doing something you love.
  • You realize time has totally passed you by.

If these have ever described you at some point in your life, it's likely you have been in a state of Flow.

Flow is when you are wrapped completely in the present where your creativity, productivity, and happiness collide to create a heightened state of incredible happiness.

In the realm of Excellence, it is known as being the fullest expression of your unique, God-given design.

So how do we get to this state?

Here are a few ideas for your consideration:

  • Arrive at a clear understanding of your identity
  • Have clear and distinct goals that flow out of that identity
  • Develop clear action steps necessary to reach the goal
  • Remove all distractions
  • It also helps that the goal you are achieving is both challenging and enjoyable

It wasn’t just any hardware store—it was the place everyone went when they needed something fixed, something built, or simply a friendly chat. For over forty years, Charlie greeted his customers with a smile, offered advice on all things tools and gadgets, and kept the town in tip-top shape. But now, Charlie was getting older.
