Look at your journey of excellence (becoming the fullest expression of your unique, God-given design) like plowing a field. There are 3 basic points:
Life is not always easy. You experience difficulty to one degree or another. Some have extreme difficulty in countries where basic necessities are a struggle. COVID-19 introduced a totally different layer of complexity and difficulty upon us all.
The moment you were conceived, you were given a force of energy. That energy is the plow you possess. It is unique. You are able to get your arms around this mysterious energy by things like personality profiles such as the DiSC, Meyers-Briggs, Strengthsfinder. You can engage in therapy or discussions with others. As you grow, you become more aware of this energy and the good, and harm, it can do. Essentially, the plow is our unique, God-given design. The plow is capable. You are capable.
There are two types of plow positions: Inappropriate and appropriate
When you try to plow the soil of difficulty inappropriately, you try to be someone else and not yourself. You try do things you aren't good at. You try to respond in ways that aren't truly your passion. This results in frustration, chronic imbalance, being out of rhythm, strained relationships, financial struggles, a sense of aloneness in the universe, poor health, low productivity, and out of control emotions.
But when you plow the soil of difficulty appropriately, you are being true to who you were meant to be. You hone the gifts and abilities you already possess. You remain curious, humble, and open to adjustment when necessary. This results in fulfillment, proper life rhythm, enjoyment, deep, meaningful relationships, financial stability, feeling of rightness in the universe, better health, high productivity, and emotional intelligence.
